I love to take an original photograph and just play with it in digital art programs until I have moved the colours and shapes around and am pleased with it. Being an artist to start with, I love playing with colour, and this is almost like finger painting without the mess - just so much fun! The negative brings a completely different viewpoint to the photograph. We are not caught up in looking at realistic things that we recognize - our mind stops a minute and attempts to put what it is seeing into a category it can understand. In those few moments, we often come to understandings about the landscape that would not have occurred to us otherwise. Drawings, paintings and doodles - they are all here too. Hope you enjoy looking at them and wondering about them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
